Pitch Biopic about Scandinavian Rockband:
A group of norwegian punks becomes a band. They decide to play the coolest and darkest blues that you can imagine.
They release their great and dark debut album at the dawn of the 2000s. The tone of their following record in the year 2001 is even darker. Both releases were toured extensively and the band builts a dedicated cult in Europe especially in Greece(!).
After a few changes in their line-up, the drummer is leaving the band, the band begins the recording of their third album which saw the band move towards a more experimental sound. The album features the band’s most well known song. The band follows the album with yet more extensive touring and a largely unsuccessful attempt to break into the UK music market.
After the recording of the fourth album at Sound City in Los Angeles the band decides to release a live record. By the end of 2005 and less than a month after its release, it becomes the highest selling album in Norway for that year with their fourth record as the runner-up. At the end of that year they win all the important categories of the Norwegian equivalent of the Grammys. And the band members starts releasing solo albums.
The band begins to work on their fifth album, but their guitarist and main songwriter is found dead in his apartment.
They decide to split.
Ten years later the original drummer asks if the rest of the band wants to play two shows in Oslo on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of their debut album. The two concerts become more than 60 all over Europe. It will be their biggest tour so far.
